We need Volunteers to assist with our Annual Children’s’ Summer Club, Monday to Friday, 2nd – 6th August, 10am - 12noon each day. We need adult volunteers to arrive at 9:45am. Please sign the List indicating the days you are available. NB We need a good ratio of adults. Thank you
COACH TRIP: Saturday, 7th August - CANCELLED
Unfortunately due to the Holiday Season and lack of demand we have had to cancel our trip to Ladyewell
MU SOCIAL & GAMES EVENING: Wed, 11th Aug, 7pm
The Mothers’ Union Evening following the 7pm Mass.
SOCIETY OF MARY FESTIVAL: Sat, 14th Aug, 2pm
The SOM Assumptiontide Festival takes place in S Catherine’s this year. There will be a Procession & Solemn Mass at 2:00pm followed by an Afternoon Tea. We need offers of Home Baked Cakes, Scones, Fruit Loaf and Sandwiches – please see Gladys Hall. NB: we are expecting 140 people.
ASSUMPTION MASS & PROCESSION: Sun, 15th Aug
We celebrate the Assumption with a special Festival Mass & Procession on Sunday 15th August at 10:30am.
ASSUMPTION EVENING PRAYER: S Mary’s 6pm
We are cordially invited to S Mary’s for Evening Prayer at 6pm The Preacher will be Father Roger. All Welcome
THE NEW LAMPS LIST- AT THE REAR OF CHURCH Lamps may be lit for the living, the departed, anniversaries, death, year’s mind, weddings, birthdays, exams, new job, moving house etc. Cost is only £5 (please pay Father Roger).
CHURCH FLOWERS: Minimum donation £25 Pedestal or £15 Smaller Arrangement. Please give contributions to Fr Roger, Eunice Read or Wendy Graveston. Thank you.
